We are setup in Milton Florida until July 29th.

We had a great day today, went down to Destin, Fort Walton and Navarre Beach.

We went to the Outlets to do some clothes shopping and found some great deals.

Stopped by and checked out a new RV Resort on the water in Narvarre that has only been open for a few months. We got a info sheet and rates, may look at staying there sometime in the future.

Veterans Memorial State Park

We spent a long weekend at Veterans Memorial State Park in South Ge Ga with Family and Friends.

This was our first tow with our new GMC 3500HD Dually, truck was great.

3500HD Ready to Tow

Got our new 3500HD ready to tow.


Finished installing our Hitch and getting trailer Plug installed in the bed this weekend.

We hooked up to our Pinnacle to make sure hitch height / bed clearance was good and test lights and brake connections.

Everything checked out good so we are ready to head out this Friday to Georgia Veterans SP in South Ga.

When we bought our new Maytag Washer and Kenmore Dryer a couple of weeks ago, the Washer would fill with water but would not spin.
Since we bought them from the Sears Outlet in Tampa, we had Sears repair out last week and he diagnosed a bad control board.
These units were new display models that we saved quite a bit of money on so I can put up with a little agrivation.
We bought the Washer and Dryer for about what the other dealers wanted for the Washer alone.
Since we had a problem with the washer, we did not install or connect the Stackable Dryer until the Washing machine was repaired and operational.



The Sears appliance repair tech was back today to replace the control board and now the Washing Machine works fine.
I installed the Dryer and we ran a couple of loads through the Washer an Dryer, everything works fine.

We took our new GMC 3500HD Truck to the vendor that does Spray in Bedliners for the GMC Dealer where we bought the truck. The got the Bedliner sprayed in and it looks great.
They told me to wait 24 hours before mounting anything in the bed of the truck.

Now that we have a 8 Foot Bed on our truck, I am converting our 5th Wheel hitch from a slider back to a stationary hitch. The fixed mounts and trailer plugs should be in tomorrow so I can install the hitch this weekend.

Moved up to a 2012 GMC 3500 HD

Since having our Chevy 2500 HD Truck and Jayco Pinnacle weighed at the RV Dreams Spring Rally in Texas and finding out how much our Truck was overloaded we have been talking about getting a more suited tow vehicle for our 41 Foot 5th Wheel.

Well, we stopped by the GMC dealer to just look at how much it was going to be to move up from our 07 Chevy 2500 HD to a new 3500 HD.

Between the Dealer Discounts, GM Rebates and very good trade offer on our 2500 HD, we now have a 2012 GMC 3500 HD. The new GMC should handle our Pinnacle much better.

We are getting a spray in bedliner and the hitch installed this week.
We are planing on heading out on July 13th, need to get some break-in miles on the new GMC before we pull the 5er.
