Disney's Fort Wilderness

Today, we made the move to Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground in Orlando.

Very busy weekend here with the long MLK Holiday weekend for many people but it will thin out during the week.
Our site is a little short for us, took a few tries to get into but it is ok.
We will be hear for about a month.
Good location, near all activities.

Our Chevy Duramax Truck is now about 5 years old and the original tires were worn down well into the treadwear bars, we got a set of new Firestone Transforce tires for our Truck about a week ago, they did great on the trip to Orlando.
Still concerned about the tires on our 5th Wheel, Jayco uses Chinese Goodyear Marathon "E" rated tires.
I do not think the Marathon's are not enough tire for a 5th Wheel as big and heavy as ours. (Redwood RV is using the same Goodyear Marathon on their heavy 5th Wheels too) We are looking at changing to a "G" Rated tire when the budget allows.

Today was the first time bringing slides in and moving since and we removed the Recliners from the rear of the living area, moved the sofa from the curb side slide to the rear by the back window and put the new Theater Seating unit where the sofa was in the curb side slide facing the TV.
Glad I got the measurements right, with the curb side slide in I have about 3 inches clearance between the Theater Seating unit and the L Shaped kitchen cabinet.

Cleaning Day Today

Cleaning Day today, finished installing our new Maxx Air II Vent Covers and washed our Pinnacle Roof and all outside, it is nice and clean now.
Also washed our truck and company truck.
Everything is so nice and clean.

Heading to Flagler Beach, Florida tomorrow morning to look at a customers elevator that continues to have problems, hope to get it fixed quickly and get back here as I need to get ready to move to Disney's Fort Wilderness early Tuesday morning.

Bale's Operation Today

Bale's operation to remove the large Kidney Stone was a great success today.
The Vet did not know if he would need to stay overnight until they saw how the procedure went and how he was doing after the operation.
The Vet called late this afternoon and said he did great and was recovering fine and that we could come pick him up.
I am sure Bale would rather be home tonight than spend the night at the Vet.
Bale is back home with us, he is just laying on the sofa, taking it easy and resting
We go back for a checkup Friday.

It is going to be cold tonight, should be in the Mid 20's, that is just too cold for Florida!!!!!

Christmas Present from Daughter & Son In Law

Our Daughter and Son In Law got us a sign for our RV for Christmas.

The sign says it all !!!!!

Christmas at Big Oak RV Park

We have been setup at Big Oak RV Park in Tallahassee so we could enjoy Christmas with our Daughter and family in the Tallahassee area.

We moved the Sleeper Sofa from the slide to the rear of our coach, then we bought us a new Theater Seating unit and gave the Recliners that came with our Pinnacle to our Daughter and Son In Law.

The new Theater Unit is by Lane, we love the new unit, it is much better quality than typical RV Furniture.

We celebrated New Years Eve with some longtime friends, had a great night.

Our little puppy dog, Bale has a large Kidney Stone, the Vet will have to do a operation on him to remove it Tuesday Jan 3rd, we hope everything goes well and gets better.

We will be heading to Disney's Fort Wilderness in about a week, we will be there till end of January.
