Today, we made the move to Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground in Orlando.
Very busy weekend here with the long MLK Holiday weekend for many people but it will thin out during the week.
Our site is a little short for us, took a few tries to get into but it is ok.
We will be hear for about a month.
Good location, near all activities.
Our Chevy Duramax Truck is now about 5 years old and the original tires were worn down well into the treadwear bars, we got a set of new Firestone Transforce tires for our Truck about a week ago, they did great on the trip to Orlando.
Still concerned about the tires on our 5th Wheel, Jayco uses Chinese Goodyear Marathon "E" rated tires.
I do not think the Marathon's are not enough tire for a 5th Wheel as big and heavy as ours. (Redwood RV is using the same Goodyear Marathon on their heavy 5th Wheels too) We are looking at changing to a "G" Rated tire when the budget allows.
Today was the first time bringing slides in and moving since and we removed the Recliners from the rear of the living area, moved the sofa from the curb side slide to the rear by the back window and put the new Theater Seating unit where the sofa was in the curb side slide facing the TV.
Glad I got the measurements right, with the curb side slide in I have about 3 inches clearance between the Theater Seating unit and the L Shaped kitchen cabinet.

Hi Rob, glad to see you got moved OK, and Bale is better.
ReplyDeleteI hope those Marathons don't let go before you can replace them. Could take out a holding tank or two!!
Happy Tails to Bale, and Happy Trails to you two, Penny
