Instead of trying to get out of the Washington DC beltway / area and make the approx. 500 mile drive to Tennessee, we decided to stop in Lexington / Natural Bridge VA then head on down to Tennessee the next day.
That turned out to be a good idea as it took several hours to get out of the Washington DC area and over to I-81 heading down to Tennessee.
The drive down I-81 was beautiful with lots of mountains and great scenery.
We arrived at Anchor Down RV Park on Sunday for a 6 night stay for some R&R and hopefully nicer weather.
Park has only been open about a month and is a little pricey but the view is great and it is real quite since we are by ourselves most of the time.
Our next stop will be Milton FL for the Easter weekend with my Niece and her family. We will be there for a week doing a training class in Pensacola, FL then moving onto Lake Conroe, TX.
